Christ The King Regional High School

by NYC Firm Schools on September 2, 2010

Christ The King Regional High School is located in the Middle Village neighborhood of Queens, NY and on May 6, 1963, classes were held for the first time after the building of the new school. The school motto, “Let it be known to all who enter that Christ is the reason for our school,” reflects the mission statement of the school to make sure the atmosphere and all members of the faculty, staff, and student body can attain a high level of achievement based on recognition of their unique abilities and their relationship with God.  Students are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually and in all areas of their life so they can meet the demands of the changing world around them.

From Principal Peter Mannarino:

Christ the King Regional High School, long known for its nationally ranked athletic programs, has reached  a level of academic distinction that makes it one of the most sought after private high schools in New York City. Each year, our students achieve academic excellence that results in millions of dollars of scholarships from colleges across the nation. Our dedicated teachers and support staff have demonstrated both the knowledge and commitment to make our academic program second to none.

The school also offers Continuing Education and Community Day Care. The Day Care was opened in 1992 and serves infants through pre-kindergarten age children. The Daycare and Preschool  seek to start children off correctly, recognizing academic and social growth in children. Parents feel secure in the knowledge that their children are safe in a warm and loving environment.
