Adults And Children In Trust (ACT Program) is a year round educational and recreational facility for children and families. The school is located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan on an 11-acre campus operated by The Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine.
Programs operated by the school include opportunities for children ages 1-5, ages 5-12, ages 12-17, and teens & adults. Specifically, programs are titled:
- Indoor Play Station – for 5 and under from November through March
- One To One Classes – Parents and toddlers
- Nursery – Two and three day programs offered
- Preschool – Part-time and full-time offered, led by a director with 25+ years experience
- Mini-ACT Camp – Summer school in July and August for 4 to kindergarten age
- After School Programs – For school age children kindergarten through 4th grade
- Holiday and Vacation Camp - For children Kindergarten through 12 years of age
- July Theme – A themed summer camp for school age children grades 1 through 9
- August Specialty Sessions – Summer camp for K-7
- August Adventure – Adventure camping for K-7 children
- July Pioneers – Summer camp for 6th through 9th graders
- Counselor-in-Training – For grades K through 4
- Community Service – For children and adults
Adults And Children In Trust is a non-profit agency with a lot of opportunities at every age level. The center was founded in 1971 and provides growing opportunities for all ages to learn and interact with each other in a safe environment.
