Not to be confused with Alef Bet Preschool, Aleph Bet is a Jewish preschool located in the heart of New York City at 133 East 29th Street.

The goal of the school is to help young children develop a lifelong love of learning. Aleph Bet Preschool attempts to make learning fun through play time. The school faculty put much emphasis on positive interactions between the children.

There is also a heavy emphasis on Jewish tradition. The curriculum focuses on Jewish traditions and customs. Students experience Shabbat and Jewish holidays.

Additional religious teachings include lessons in the Hebrew alphabet and children learn through singing songs, storytelling, cooking, and art projects. They’ll learn a great deal about history and their Jewish heritage.

Aleph Bet Preschool is open to two year olds on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Three year olds have an open door on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Children must be two years old by September 1 to attend. The classroom hours for two and three year olds are 8:45 a.m. to noon.

Aleph Bet Preschool serves the Murray Hill neighborhood of Manhattan and is supported by the Congregation Adereth El synagogue.

The school has a large outdoor play area that is safe and secure. There is also a large indoor gym. Children have fun as they run, jump, and play and learn to socialize with others in a safe and friendly environment.
