Focus On Holy Family School

Holy Family School is a Catholic private school in the Flushing neighborhood of Queens, NYC. Education at Holy Family School is based on respect for self and each other in the same vein as Jesus Christ. Only baptized Christians are admitted into the school.

Holy Family serves pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. The curriculum consists of sacramental preparation, daily prayers, and seasonal liturgies.

The pre-kindergarten program offers a full-day and a half-day option.

In addition to traditional curriculum, which meets the standards of New York State, computer and library instruction are included, Spanish, gym, and music classes are offered, and grades 2 through 4 receive recorder lessons. All students receive religion classes.

Other activities include an after school program, a CYO sports program, Daisies, Brownies, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, Aquinas Program, National Junior Honor Society, a computer club, and a home and school association.

Holy Family School also places a very high importance on safety. Students are reminded to use crosswalks, sidewalks, and safety zones.

Students are expected to adhere to all the school rules. Parents can also join the prayer team to pray for students, staff, and administrators of Holy Family School. The prayer team also receives special prayer requests.
