Parents can visit the school’s website and see a list of online resources that students are encouraged to use while in school. These resources are available for elementary students and high school students and include:

  • Grizmek’s Animals Online
  • Science Resource Center
  • Worldbook Encyclopedia Online
  • World History Resource Center
  • eLibrary
  • Various databases for high schoolers
  • Lexis Nexis Scholastic
  • and Ebsco Masterfile Select

Magen David Yeshivah also includes summer reading lists and assignments for the serious students enrolled in grades 5 through 8.

A central part of education at Magen David Yeshivah, however, is Torat Haim.

Torat Haim is the Torah of Life. A curriculum for grades 1 through 8, its purpose is to immerse younger students in the study of the Torah and guide them into a lifelong love of learning that involves using the Torah as a guide for living.

At the heart of Torat Haim is the Sunday curriculum, which provides students with prayer, Torah study, singing, liturgy, and discussions on serious topics. Students also participate in crafts that reinforce the lessons.

Magen David Yeshivah is a school of Jewish studies for boys and girls from early childhood through high school.
