Focus On Note Worthy Preschool

by NYC Firm Schools on March 3, 2012

Note Worthy Preschool is located on Broadway in Manhattan. The school is called a “music based preschool” because they incorporate music for learning and fun. And it’s working.

The school attempts to introduce a theme-based curriculum where students can learn according to their individual learning styles. Whilst all students have their own ways of learning, which suits them, all students can relate to music, enjoy it, and can learn from it. Their sense of music is innate. This is the philosophy behind the music-based curriculum at Note Worthy.

The teacher makes a plan and establishes goals for each student. That plan is designed to help the student learn and grow according to his or her natural learning and development path in the areas of development appropriate for a preschool age child.

The morning program at Note Worthy begins at 9 a.m. and ends at noon. The afternoon program runs from noon to 3 p.m. All classes meet Monday through Friday and parents have a 2-day, 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day option. Financial aid is also available. The program focuses on communications skills, social skills, cooperation, and fun. You can see a sample curriculum on the school’s website.

Open House meetings begin in October for the following year. If you plan to submit an admissions packet, then you should plan to attend an Open House.

If you think a non-traditional learning program may be for your child, then consider Note Worthy Preschool.
