Focus On Sacred Heart School

Sacred Heart School is a private school located in the Highbridge section of the Bronx and has been in operation since 1926.

The school is a Catholic school that seeks to educate the whole child and instill values in every child who walks through its doors.

Sacred Heart School has many resources available to students. These include:

  • Classroom Inc., an after school publishing program for students grades 5-8

In addition to a fine program of extracurricular activities, Sacred Heart School also has a thriving Spanish language educational program (en espanol).

Sacred Heart takes students from kindergarten through eighth grade. The school is located at 95 West 168th Street and 1248 Nelson Avenue in the Bronx. School hours begin at 8:15 a.m. but there is an early morning drop off and breakfast at 7 a.m. The after school program runs from 3-6 p.m.

Admissions at Sacred Heart School is rolling until all classes are full. New students need a birth certificate, immunization record, and if the student is baptized a baptismal certificate. New students also need a most recent report card and a Sacred Heart placement test.

Sacred Heart School has a thriving alumni program.
