The Yeshiva of Central Queens is a Zionist Orthodox yeshiva for boys and girls nursery school through eighth grade. While located in the Flushing neighborhood of Queens, the school serves both Queens, NYC and Long Island.

The Yeshiva of Central Queens has been an active yeshiva for over 60 years. The school seeks to inspire a lifelong love of Torah observance, mitzvot, and Torah study. Its reputation for academics is widely known both for its Torah studies and secular studies.

Students at The Yeshiva of Central Queens have plenty of extracurricular activities available to them. Among the activities that students have the opportunity to participate in are the Torah Bowl, Mishmar Madness, Fifth Grade Literary Club, YCQ Choir, Debate Team, and the Presidential Fitness Challenge.

Students who participate in the Presidential Fitness Challenge get to improve their skills in sports as well as key fitness indicators such as endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and agility.

Mishmar Madness is a fun event that combines good food with rebbeim presenting students with shiurim on specific topics of interest to young people. The students learn Torah from the rebbeim through stories, divrei Torah, and interesting discussion.

Students are required to adhere to a dress code while attending the Yeshiva of Central Queens. Graduates of the school go on to some of the best Jewish high schools and colleges and universities in New York City.
